Gasoline particulate filters are used to #capture #particulate #matter from the #exhaust, using a honeycomb structure with alternate channels blocked in order to enhance filtration efficiency, while the application of a coating with catalytic washcoat can provide simultaneous #reduction of THC, CO and NOₓ #emissions.
